The important thing is to ask questions and to keep asking them. Your first question should be "What is LYL?" A good question indeed. I was introduced to LYL back in October of 2014, when I lost my job. This of course was a horrible event which will turn into something amazing for our lives ("our" referring to Debbie, my wife, and I). It is just a matter of time, or as Eckhart Tole offered in the fable about the king who wanted serenity in his life: "This too will pass"
Live Your Legend is a movement started by Scott Dinsmore to help people find their passion in life. You can find out more about it here: http://liveyourlegend.net/. Since finding something I can get excited about in my work has been a struggle for a long time this website immediately spoke to me. Enter the next 6 months, where Scott sends emails every week, which I eventually stop reading altogether, telling me about his life adventures as well as life's work. I have to admit I am a little jealous, especially reading about his trips, with his wife, all over the world to do major releases for his internet following of which I suppose I am one.
For some reason he recently sent an email inviting his group to start blogging, as that was according to him, the surest way to find what your passion is. At this point in my unemployment I am at my wits end, looking for a way out (As I write this I think I should be looking for a way in and not out, but I suspect I will have to write more about that later.) In any case Scott's announcement invited me to receive 6 more daily emails, introducing me to the process of blogging. To be honest it is now 6 days after receiving my first email and I finally started reading these. Better late than never. And that ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, is how we arrived at this blog.
